Being There Now

Robert Jones is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He has a master’s degree in English and American Literature from New York University, certification in school administration from Columbia University, and a master’s in social work from Fordham University, all in N.Y.C. He spent the early part of his professional career as a high school teacher and administrator. Since 1992, he has worked as a psychotherapist for Family and Children Services in Queens, N.Y., as a consultant for the AIDS Center of Queens County, and as a private therapist. Since coming to California in 1997, Bob has worked for Caritas Counseling. In that capacity, he has facilitated anger management groups for adults and teens, taught parenting classes, and worked as a therapist with couples, families, and individuals. Presently, Bob is working for the Latino Commission of Riverside County. In that capacity, he is engaged in individual and family therapy as well as community outreach programs to the Coachella Valley School District.
